OpenICDL Coursware

The development version of the OpenICDL courseware aims to be a release version. The development version can only become an OpenICDL release version by decision of the ECDL/ICDL. The development version is licensed under the Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 license and does not carry the trademark logo of the ICDL.

A release version of the OpenICDL courseware is a copy of the development version that has been reviewed by the ECDL/ICDL and deemed to be of a quality suitable for use in training students aiming for ICDL certification. The release version is licensed under Attribution-NoDerivs 2.5 and is published with the trademark logo of the ICDL. The release version is the property of the ICDL who have extended permission for anyone to freely reproduce and use the release version for commercial gain under the terms of the license.
